Interested in becoming a Referee??

There are a couple options below dependent on age as you start your Referee journey.

• In-House Club Official -  most referees start here for our In-House U7/U8 age groups on Saturday afternoons. This is for ages 12 (up to 14).
• Travel Referee - if you are 14 years of age, you are eligible to become a US Soccer Certified Grass Roots referee.

Do you want to be a referee and earn money as a club official in our in-house program? If you have turned 12 years of age (up to 14 ) and have been part of the PSC program, you are eligible. Club Officials usually are in the U13/14 age group league.  You will need to do the following steps:

• Review the Club Officials Guide (download below)
• Take the Club Official Exam -  https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSc_QgNakSwHEk84YYciN95l3MLcXH7u2EtIe-Zq5ud5EtU4zQ/viewform
• Email Carlos when complete -  carlos@ctkeeper.com  
• Create an account on the Referee platform Assignr.com by following the steps outlined on the website menu -> Assignr.com getting started

Travel Referee's - If you are 14 years of age, you are eligible to become a US Soccer Certified Grass Roots referee. You will need do the following steps:

• Create an account for the online courses at the US Soccer Learning Center - Referee. U.S. Soccer Learning Center 
• Once you create an account - go to the CTReferee.net site link to register for the course. https://www.ctreferee.net/become-a-referee/
• You will also need to register for a field session sponsored by CJSA/CT Referee before the season. Sign up at https://www.ctreferee.net/become-a-referee/ 

If you have completed your US Soccer Referee Certification above, please email Carlos Almeida to be added to the PSC Referee Assignor list.  

Email : carlos@ctkeeper.com with the following information:

• Certification completion date
• Years of experience or new
• Preference for Center or Assistant referee
• Preference for age groups
• You must also submit a W9 form to be eligible to referee in our Travel Program.  Follow the 'W9 File' link on right side of this page to download/print a form
