POMPERAUG SOCCER CLUB
Pomperaug Soccer Club (PSC) was established in 2018 when the Southbury Soccer Club and Middlebury Soccer Club joined forces with a shared vision of creating one stronger, unified soccer community for local families. By combining the strengths of both organizations, PSC was formed to provide the highest-quality soccer experience for players throughout Southbury, Middlebury, and the surrounding communities.
Today, Pomperaug Soccer Club offers soccer opportunities for players of all ages and skill levels through both our competitive Travel Program and our recreational In-House Program.
Our Travel Program begins at the U-9 age group and continues through the older age divisions, with teams competing in the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA) Northwest District. Our travel program emphasizes player development, teamwork, sportsmanship, and competitive play while helping athletes reach their full potential in a positive and supportive environment.
For younger players and those looking to enjoy the game in a fun, instructional setting, our In-House Recreational League serves children from U-4 through U-12. The program focuses on teaching the fundamentals of soccer while encouraging confidence, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong passion for the game. Through weekly practices, games, and age-appropriate coaching, our recreational program provides the perfect foundation for young athletes and serves as the starting point for many future travel players.
At Pomperaug Soccer Club, we believe soccer is about much more than winning games. It is about developing character, building confidence, creating lifelong friendships, and teaching valuable life lessons through sport. We strive to create an environment where every player feels welcomed, challenged, and supported—regardless of experience or ability.
As a volunteer-driven, nonprofit organization, PSC is proud to serve the families of Southbury and Middlebury by providing affordable, high-quality soccer programs that place player development ahead of wins and losses. Our dedicated coaches, volunteers, and families work together to foster a culture built on respect, integrity, teamwork, and community.
